For his second album " Résilien ce" , bassist Thierry Balin offers us a borderless music that draws its inspiration from world music and Jazz.
His compositions are nourished by a multitude of styles: tango, bolero, biguine, samba, baião, and more. This diversity offers him a wide palette of musical colors. Melody at the center, the harmony and improvisation of jazz, as well as the influence of world music, are the essential ingredients of his music.
Surrounded by his friends, highly talented musicians, accordionist Thierry Serra, pianist Clément Griffault and drummer Pierre Costes, Thierry Balin takes us on an imaginary journey bathed in melodies and emotions… Music that makes you feel good!

"Anna Danse" is a musical creation by bassist and composer Thierry Balin. His compositions reflect his love of melody and draw on a multitude of influences, where jazz, groove, and world music intertwine to form a richly colorful musical universe. A specialist in the fretless bass, he is one of those musicians who has developed a unique sound and phrasing that is instantly recognizable.
For this show, he chose partners perfectly in tune: pianist Jérôme Vaccari, a brilliant musician who skillfully navigates between Latin, classical, and jazz music; accordionist Thierry Serra, who brings the breath of his accordion to showcase melodies and choruses that are his alone! He also plays the bandoneon on some tracks; and drummer Pierre Costes, with his infectious energy and formidably effective rhythmic precision.
The album "Anna Danse", released in January 2014, received a warm welcome from the public and the press.
